Deepak Ahirwar is from the Panna District of Madhya Pradesh whose childhood was spent in the jungles. Through his nature education work, he hopes that children or the community are motivated to connect with nature and contribute to its conservation. He does environment-related activities with children and organises bird and nature walks.

Angeline Mano is a nature educator from Salem, Tamil Nadu. She introduces bird watching to women, children, youth and the public through bird walks, outreach & nature education programs. She believes that education about nature and birds is the foundation for a better future.

Saptha Girish is a nature educator from Mysuru, Karnataka. He leads bird and nature walks for children and youth, guiding them to understand and connect with the natural world. He uses a variety of resources and over the years has engaged with a variety of learners and birders out in the field.

Snigdha Sehgal is an educator, biologist and naturalist living and working in Goa. She organises workshops on science and nature education for children and adults through her initiative ‘The Learning Forest. She ensures that she’s always ready with never-ending enthusiasm to go on nature discovery quests with any eager child at school.

Maria Antony is from Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu and is currently a Nature Educator at ATREE’s Agasthyamalai Community Conservation Centre (ACCC) in Manimutharu, Tamil Nadu. He draws on his skills in digital illustration, painting, caricature, storytelling, nature photography and his background in wildlife biology to design innovative conservation education programmes.

Chanchal Singha Roy is a self-motivated teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School in Kadamtala, Middle Andaman. He works with the students to raise awareness of the islands’ unique ecosystems by using locally available resources so that they are kept as a part of their way of life in the long run.

Shraddha Rangnekar is a nature educator from Goa and is a Partner with Mrugaya Xpeditions. She organises experiential learning programs for school and college students as well as the public at large. She is also the Founder Member of the Foundation for Environment Research and Conservation (FERC).

Surendhar Boobalan is a school teacher and a birder from Puducherry. He popularises bird watching among students and the public by organising bird walks and talks. He is a part of the Tamil Birders Network and organises the Pongal Bird Count and co-ordinates Campus Bird Counts in Puducherry every year.

Harshada Gauns is a trained zoologist with seven years of experience in conducting and implementing biodiversity-based research and three years working closely with communities in Goa. She has engaged with students from more than 60 schools across Goa, taking the message of nature, environment, conservation, and sustainable living to them.
